Whether it's updating a tired bathroom (think avocado green baths!), designing a functional family bathroom, a compact ensuite, or a sanctuary where you melt away your cares in the tub, our bathroom renovations cleverly balance function and form. We create environments that make our clients' lives more comfortable and enjoyable through immaculately designed and beautifully built spaces.
While a kitchen is the heart of the home, a bathroom is a place where you can create solitude, even if it is only for a little while. Many clients are now choosing to upgrade their bathrooms to create their very own spa experience - think rainfall shower heads or spa baths, underfloor heating and integrated spaces where you can add luxury in the form of scented candles, greenery or hidden speakers for relaxing music. We can help you create the feel you want without foregoing any of the practicality needed to make your bathroom work.
The Home Show was a blast!
After weeks of preparation we launched at the Auckland Home Show with a pop up bathroom and the star of the show, a terrific Surita Nel designed and incredibly functional Kitchen. The kitchen in a clean white was really well received and we have been super busy following up with a large number of requests for in home consultations.
Luxury bathroom renovations that emphasise style and function
Bathrooms are often one of the smallest rooms in the home which can make them important to get right, because adding things later can be expensive.
We work closely with you to discuss your ideas in detail at the very start of the project. We'll identify what styles you like, how you want your bathroom to look and what it needs to do for all members of your household. We will continue to provide our ideas and suggestions until we get to a design you are happy with.
To ensure we get your bathroom renovations right, we have an extensive consultation process that help us to draw up your bathroom design plans. We discuss your ideas, offer our design advice, and create a proposal which naturally can be further refined. Once you have made your final choices, we'll organise and oversee the renovation project from start to finish.
Most of the time your bathroom renovation can be done in the same space, but sometimes you many want to relocate things. That might be in the form of removing a wall that separates the toilet and the bathroom to make one big space or, conversely, building a wall to make two rooms to give more flexibility. If you have an ensuite, you may consider moving other parts of your bedroom or wardrobes to allow you to make more of your bathroom. You might also want to consider adding an extra window or skylight to create more light, better ventilation or additional storage. As an interior architect, Surita can assist with those decisions and create the drawings needed for resource consent if required.
Whether it's a simple refresh to add value, or a more extensive rearrangement, we can work with you to achieve the outcome you want.

What makes up
the cost of your bathroom?
The cost of your bathroom renovations depends on both the scope of the work and the finishes you choose. Costs will depend on whether we are working with a cloakroom or a full bathroom, in the same space or relocating, and the fixtures and fittings you choose.
During your first consultation, we'll discuss a range of things with you to enable us to give you an accurate picture of what you are wanting, working towards a proposal that will suit your budget.
