Transition

This kitchen make over was part of a complete renovation of a1920’s villa in Kingsland. The property had been a rental for over 20 years and was due for a spruce up. The key considerations were ensuring the design was in keeping with the villa vibe, but with a modern touch. Consequently the cupboard doors were given a country kitchen look, modern handles were used and an on trend black and white theme was created. A challenge was that the back wall was way out of alignment so some nifty design work was needed to get the front looking fabulously straight. Before it was installed in its current location this kitchen featured on our stand at the Home and Garden Show in May and received some great reviews particularly on the height of the cabinetry.

Penthouse

Apartment

This inner city penthouse needed an update. The client wanted something sleek, with a showpiece for entertainment. The area was light filled so we were able to offset with darker colours to get the wow factor. Marble on the walls softened the look, added some glamour and defined the kitchen area within the open floor. The timber finish on the bulkhead completed the look. Lighting was a key feature of the design, with the client requesting we create an inviting ambience.

Spa

Delight

The client's vision was to have a bathroom that evoked the tranquility and luxury of visiting a spa. The existing bathroom had the shower entry through the hallway and a separate toilet with no basin and a separate room for the bath. The space was reconfigured to have a full bathroom plus a guest toilet with a hand basin. Luxurious marble, natural stone and soft LED lighting came together in perfect harmony, transforming the space into a serene, spa-like retreat that exudes elegance. The client was delighted and came back to us a few months later to do the ensuite bathroom.

Coastal

Calm

This Omaha property was dated and cluttered. The client wanted a clean look with a display space for inherited crockery. We used ocean colours as inspiration for our selections - white, egg shell blue and a timber floor reflected sea foam, the ocean and sand to create a soft coastal effect. The glass overhead units focus the eye to the family treasures.

Makeover

The bathroom and toilet renovation in this Te Atatu home marked a significant transformation, as it was the first update in 40 years. The goal was to create a brighter, more functional space that would be comfortable and accessible for older residents - all while keeping the process simple without needs consents. To enhance natural light and openness, we replaced the existing shower wall with a sleek glass cubicle. For added safety and ease of use, we installed a low-profile, non-slip shower tray for seamless access and a high-rise toilet for extra comfort. The result is a beautifully refreshed bathroom that feels both inviting and practical, designed to support effortless daily living.

The client, a graphic designer, had a keen eye for clean lines and fine details. The brief was to create a sleek, streamlined kitchen that would also be functional for a family of five. To achieve this, careful attention was given to proportion, balance, and perspective. Rimu detailing was used to complement the home’s existing architecture and connect with the natural beauty of Titirangi’s bush surroundings. A standout feature is the flawless pattern match of the timber veneer on the overhead cupboards. For practicality and style, a soft-touch finish was used on the black surfaces to minimise fingerprints - making the kitchen both beautiful and family-friendly.
